CHARGERS FINISH IN A TIE FOR SEVENTH AT QUECHEE DIVISION II CHALLENGE
Quechee, Vt. (9/21/16) The Dominican College men's golf team tied for seventh place at the Quechee Division II Challenge hosted by Southern New Hampshire University this past Monday and Tuesday.
Quechee, Vt. (9/21/16) The Dominican College men's golf team tied for seventh place at the Quechee Division II Challenge hosted by Southern New Hampshire University this past Monday and Tuesday.
Dominican had a two-day total of 623 (+47) at the Quechee Highland Course. The team finished in a two-way tie for seventh place with the College of Saint Rose.
Bentley University took home the team top spot, followed by Southern New Hampshire University, St. Thomas Aquinas College, Nyack College and Post University to round out the top five.
Sophomore Leonard Lee (Wyckoff, N.J.) was the high finisher for the Chargers with a total score of 152 (77,75) to finish in a tie for 18th place and be three strokes above par.
Hunter Wescott (Portland, Ore.) tied for 34th place with rounds of 80 and 76 for a 156 combined score.
Carlos Armas Stenner (Durango, Mexico) tied for 36th place with a score of 157 (74, 83), while Jayce Robinson (Sparks, Nevada) shot rounds of 77 and 84 to tie for 49th place with a combined score of 161.
Daniel Parker (Ocean City, Md.) tied for 53rd place with a total score of 162 (81, 81).
The Chargers return to the course on September 30th as they host the 9th Annual Charger Challenge at Spook Rock Golf Course.
