CHARGERS GOLF TAKES SECOND PLACE AT GOLDEY-BEACOM SPRING INVITE

Ocean View, Del. (3/12/17) The Dominican College golf team took second place at the Goldey-Beacom College Spring Invite played yesterday and today at the Bear Trap Dunes Golf Course.

Ocean View, Del. (3/12/17)  The Dominican College golf team took second place at the Goldey-Beacom College Spring Invite played yesterday and today at the Bear Trap Dunes Golf Course.

Dominican had a team score of 322 on day to one to sit in third place, but followed with a 303 team score in the final round to finish with a 625 total.  The team score placed them nine strokes behind the leader Wilmington University.

Sophomore Leonard Lee (Wyckoff, N.J.) tied for fifth place, along with Hunter Wescott (Portland, Ore.) with a combined score of 155.  Both players shot an 80 on day one and a 75 on day two.

Carlos Armas Stenner (Durango, Mexico) tied for 11th place with a two-day total of 156 (80, 76), while Daniel Parker (Ocean City, Md.) shot rounds of 85 and 77 for a 162 total to tie for 19th place.

Lode Nolmans (Brussels, Belgium) rounded out the scoring with a 164 total (82,82) to finish in 22nd place.
