CHARGERS TAKE SEVENTH PLACE AT SPARTAN SHOOTOUT

Results

Thiells, N.Y. (4/21/26)  The Dominican University New York men's golf team finished in seventh place at the St. Thomas Aquinas Spartan Shootout held yesterday and today at Philip J. Rotella Memorial Golf Course and hosted by St. Thomas Aquinas College.

Joseph Benesch and Rodrigo Romero tied for 22nd place in the tournament with a 234 total score.  Bensch had rounds of 82-78 and 74, while Romero shot an 83-77-74.

As a team, the Chargers had 18 birdies and one eagle in the tournament.  Benesch led the way with seven birdies in the three rounds and also had the one eagle for the team.
