Rockville Centre, NY (11/25/08) Sophomore forward Brian Hutchinson (Elmont, NY) amassed a double-double with 13 points and 10 rebounds, but it was not enough as the Molloy College men's basketball team fell to Dominican College, 85-58, in non-conference action on Tuesday at Quealy Gymnasium in Rockville Centre, N.Y. Hutchinson was 5-for-8 from the field and 3-for-4 from the charity stripe in the defeat.

Hutchinson was 5-for-8 from the field and 3-for-4 from the charity stripe in the defeat.
The Chargers have won two straight and improve to 4-2 overall, while the Lions slip to 1-4 overall. The game marked the second meeting of the season as Dominican came away with a 104-93 victory on its home court on November 19.
Senior guard Will Carty (Bronx, NY) led the Chargers offensively with a game-high 16 points on 7-of-9 shooting from the field and added three assists and three steals.
Dominican completed the game shooting 47.0 percent (31-of-66) from the field and went 20-for-31 (64.5 percent) at the charity stripe. The Chargers scored 27 points off 18 Lion miscues. Molloy shot 37.7 percent (23-of-61) in field-goal range and was 11-for-21 (52.4 percent) at the free-throw line. Underneath, the Chargers out-scored the Lions by a 40-32 margin.
The Chargers jumped out to an early lead to begin the game and scored 12 unanswered points that gave them a 21-6 advantage with 12:19 remaining in the first half. Dominican led by as many as 21 points with 7:55 remaining and completed the half leading by a 48-30 advantage.
In the second half, the Chargers returned to the court and out-scored the Lions 16-1 through the first seven and half minutes of play and built its lead up to 35 with 10:30 remaining in regulation.
For Molloy, junior forward Ian Thomas-Minor (Brooklyn, NY) came off the bench to score 12 points and pulled down seven rebounds, while blocking two Dominican shots.
Sophomore center Kresimar Knez (Astoria, NY) added 14 points and four rebounds for the Chargers while senior forward Dato Sakvarelidze (Tbilisi, GA) dished out six assists.
For Molloy, freshman forward Dariel Concha (Valley Stream, NY) came into the game and scored 10 points while pulling down three rebounds.
