SECOND HALF SURGE LEADS SAINTS OVER MEN'S BASKETBALL
Monmouth, OR (11/20/10) The Saints of Saint Martin's University rallied from a ten point deficit at the intermission to defeat the Dominican College men's basketball team, 75-72, this evening on the final day of the 2010 WOU/Phoenix Inn D2 Shootout being held at the New PE Building.

Freshman Khaleev Ginyard (Brentwood, NY) led four Chargers in double figures with 18 points, shooting 5-10 from the three point arc. Sophomore guard Leon Porter (Laurel, MD) netted 14 points and had a team leading five rebounds, while sophomore Cory Quimby (Otisville, NY) scored 14 points, going 8-8 from the charity stripe.
Rookie Nick Smith (Middletown, NY) had a nice game off the bench as he scored 10 points, going 4-6 from the floor and grabbing four rebounds in the loss.
With the loss Dominican falls to 0-4 on the season.
DC returns to action on Wednesday, December 1st when they host Post University in the opening game of Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) play on Coach Baxter Court at the Hennessy Center. Game time is set for 8pm.
