DOMINICAN'S HONIS EARN ALL-MET HONORS

Orangeburg, N.Y. (4/18/25) Dominican University men's basketball player, Jaden Honis, has been named to the 2024-25 All-Metropolitan Division II Men's Basketball First Team as was announced Thursday by the Met Basketball Writers Association.

This is Honis's first All-Met accolades.

Honis was previously named to the All-Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) First Team and to the NABC East Region All-District Second Team. He scored his 1,000th career point on February 16, 2025 vs the University of Bridgeport and was named to the CACC Weekly Honor Rol six times this season. Honis finishes his career with 1,111 points. Honis led the team and ranked fourth in the CACC in scoring, averaging 16.8 ppg. He was 12th in both three-point field goal percentage and free throw percentage, while sitting 14th in assists.

He is one of five players from the CACC to earn All-Met honors.
