MEN'S BASKETBALL RECEIVES VOTES IN NABC PRESEASON POLL
Orangeburg, N.Y. (10/31/25) The National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) Preseason Poll was recently released with the Dominican University New York men's basketball team receiving votes.
The 2024-2025 season saw the Chargers finish with an overall record of 21-9 and a 14-2 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) record. DUNY captured the CACC north division title as well as the #1 overall seed in the CACC tournament. The Chargers fell to the University of Bridgeport in the CACC Semifinals.
Dominican received an at large bid as the #7 seed in the NCAA East Regional Tournament and went on to win a quarterfinal matchup against Adelpi University. The Chargers bowed out of the tournament with a semifinal loss to the eventual 2025 East Regional Tournament Champions, Assumption University.
The Chargers open the 2025-2026 campaign against Bentley University, #24 in the NABC Preseason Poll, on Friday, November 14th in the CACC/NE10 Conference Challenge at the George R. Newman Center hosted by Caldwell University.
