Sparkill, N.Y. (1/28/26) The Dominican University New York men's basketball team fell to host, St. Thomas Aquinas College, 111-90, this evening in the Doc Schelin Classic held tonight in Aquinas Hall.
Following the game, the Chargers are now 8-11 overall on the season.
Senior forward Koi D. Kirk, Jr. had a game best and career high 28 points (10-11 from the charity stripe) and just missed the double-double with nine rebounds in the loss.
Guard Elijah Peters tied his career high with 23 points (9-10 from the floor), while Chance Morrish added 11 points and five assists.
Senior Isaiah Honis dished out a team high seven assists to go along with eight points and four rebounds.
Center Tyler Edore pulled down five caroms.
Dominican returns to action on Saturday afternoon when they travel to conference opponent, Goldey-Beacom College.
