EDORE AND O'MAHONY NAMED TO THE CACC ALL-ACADEMIC MEN'S BASKETBALL TEAM

New Haven, Conn. (4/7/26)  The 2025-26 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Men's Basketball All-Academic Team contains 12 student-athletes, CACC Commissioner Dan Mara announced today. The honorees represent eight conference member institutions.

Dominican University New York had two players named to the team: Tyler Edore and Michael O'Mahony.  For O'Mahony this is his third CACC All-Academic honors.

To be eligible for CACC All-Academic status, a student-athlete must possess a minimum cumulative grade-point average of 3.50, be at least a sophomore academically and athletically, and be in his/her second year at his/her current institution. New for 2025-26, honorees must also either compete in at least two-thirds of his/her team's games or start at least half.

Four CACC institutions – Chestnut Hill College, Dominican University New York, Goldey-Beacom College, and Post University – placed two players each on the All-Academic Team. The complete set of winners can be viewed at the link above.

Post University graduate student Derrick Thomas II owns a perfect 4.00 GPA. He heads a list of four All-Academic selections who maintain a GPA of 3.80 or higher.

The CACC All-Academic Team was instituted during the 2004-05 academic year.
