MEN'S LACROSSE FALLS TO GEORGIAN COURT UNIVERSITY

Hillburn, N.Y. (3/24/21) The Dominican College men's lacrosse team fell to the Lions of Georgian Court University.

The Chargers fall to 1-2 on the season and GCU improves to 3-1.

William Gordon (Amityville, N.Y.) had three goals and two assists. Luke Martini (Abington, Mass.) scored two goals and took a team-high 16 shots.

Marcos Pierce (Middleburg, Va.) and Daniel Carson (Lindenhurst, N.Y.) each added one goal and one assist. Cole Vencack (Smithtown, N.Y.) added one goal.

For GCU, Michael Ventresca and P.J. Saracino each scored three goals. Dylan Pool, Tanner Lee, and Lucas Iarossi each scored two goals.

Devin Bell, Randy Collins, Tallen Smith, Daniel Burnham, and Thomas Heegan all added one goal. Austin Geissel recorded 15 saves in goal.

The Lions scored the first three goals of the game in the first quarter. DC added one goal at the end of the first quarter.

The Lions added four goals in the second quarter and DC answered with three goals. GCU entered halftime with a 7-4 lead.

The Lions extended their lead in the third quarter with four more goals and six goals in the fourth to help secure the win. The Chargers added one goal in the third quarter and three in the fourth.

The Chargers will be back in action on Wednesday, March 31st when they travel to Molloy College for a non-conference game at 7:00 PM.
