Hooksett, N.H. (4/8/26) The Dominican University New York men's lacrosse team fell in non-conference action this afternoon to the Penmen of Southern New Hampshire University.
The Chargers fall to 4-9 overall while SNHU improves to 5-5 overall.
Both teams traded goals to open the first quarter before SNHU aded four more goals and the Chargers added two more before the end of the first quarter.
The Penmen shutout the Chargers 5-0 in the second quarter and took a 10-3 lead into halftime.
The Chargers added three goals in the third but SNHU scored four in the third and five in the fourth on their wat to the 19-6 victory.
Evan Dupras scored four goals for the Chargers while adding one assist. Chad Keyser picked up two goals while Sean Cosgrove scored one goal.
DU goalkeeper Nicholas Creisher made eight saves and picked up four groundballs but suffered the loss. Bryce Layton, Jake Mahan and Nicholas Bazzini each saw time in net and made a combined five saves.
Matthew Roy earned the win in net for SNHU while making four saves. John Batchelor also made four saves.
The Chargers return home and return to conference play on Saturday when they host Wilmington University on O'Brien Field at 3:30 PM.
