#12 MEN'S SOCCER CHARGES PAST FELICIAN COLLEGE

Lyndhurst, NJ (10/7/09) The Dominican College men's soccer team, ranked 12th nationally in the latest NSCAA/Adidas poll, defeated Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) opponent Felician College, 3-0 this afternoon.

Lyndhurst, NJ (10/7/09)  The Dominican College men's soccer team, ranked 12th nationally in the latest NSCAA/Adidas poll, defeated Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) opponent Felician College, 3-0 this afternoon.

The Chargers struck for their first goal in the 10th minute of play as sophomore midfielder John Langdon (Bellport, NY) chipped in a shot from the 15 yard line off the assist from senior Dan Kelly (Massapequa, NY).

Dominican took a 2-0 lead in the 21st minute as CACC Player of the Week, Joe Wright (Stratford-Upon-Avon, England) tallied his team and CACC leading 15th goal of the season off the dish from Diego Barahona (Stamford, CT).

The final goal came in the 74th minute off the foot of freshman Pedro Franklin De Araujo (Campinas-SP, Brazil) on a short chip shot.

Felician outshot the Dominican 15-10.

DC goalie Brandon Heembrock (Ottawa, Canada) made eight saves in the victory.

Dominican impvoes to 10-0-2 overall and 5-0-1 in the CACC.

The team is back in action on Saturday when they travel to CACC rival, Nyack College for a 2:30 pm game.
