2021 Dominican College Men’s Tennis Summary
The COVID-19 pandemic saw the men’s tennis team to play a shortened season, all played during the spring semester. The Chargers had an overall record of 3-6 and a 3-5 record in the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC).
The Chargers finished in fourth place in the conference and just missed a playoff berth under second-year head coach, Joseph Gravagna.
The first win in program history for Dominican came on March 25th where they topped Thomas Jefferson University, 4-3.
Junior Anthony Kwok led the team with a 5-4 record while playing in the fourth and fifth singles position.
Marcos Lee posted a 4-5 record play in singles, while Guilherme Salim went 3-6. For his play, Salim was named to the All-CACC Second Team.
In doubles play the team of Kwok and Salim went 2-3 in the second doubles position.
Salim, Angel Lugo and Skylar Ross were all named to the CACC All-Academic Team.
