2022-23 Dominican University Men’s Tennis Summary

 

The Chargers had an overall record of 1-11 and an 0-9 record in the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC). 

 

 

For the second straight year, the Chargers received the 2023 CACC Men’s Tennis Sportsmanship Award.

 

 

The doubles team of Guilherme Salim and Marcos Lee finished 5-6 overall on the year to lead the team. Lee went 4-8 overall in singles while Salim finished the year 3-9. Both Lee and Salim reached the Quarterfinals of the ITA East Regional Tournament in the fall of 2022.

 

 

Ander Cantero Sadaba led the team in singles with a 5-6 overall record.

 

 

Salim and Skylar Ross were named to the CACC All-Academic Team for the third time, while Qalib Bahadurali Ladhani made his second appearance on the team.

 

 

Ladhani was also inducted into the Dominican University New York Sigma Chapter of Chi Alpha Sigma.
