New York, N.Y. (2/23/19) The 4x200m relay team of Brandon Adams (Highland Mills, N.Y.), Michael Merced (Pearl River, N.Y.), Andrew Pierre (Spring Valley, N.Y.) and Lowell Pierrette (Elmsford, N.Y.) had the high finish of second place with a time of 1:31.94 at the Last Chance Meet held yesterday at the NYC Armory.
The high jump event saw Adams finish in fifth place with a time of 1.95m (6 feet, 4.75 inches).
Merced also competed in the 400m dash where he took sixth place with a time of 49.79. Justin Estevez (Nanuet, N.Y.) finished in 37th place with a time of 54.61.
Junior Rollens Florvil (Spring Valley, N.Y.) took part in the 500 dash where he took 12th place with a time of 1:10.99.
Senior Merced took part in the 200m dash where he ran a time of 22.63 to finish in 12th place. Pierrette and Pierre took 27th and 35th place respectively with times of 23.20 and 23.48, while Adams had a time of 24.00 to finish in 52nd place. Junior Estevez finished in 73rd place with a time of 25.03.
In the long jump, Pierrette had a jump of 6.27m (20 feet, 7 inches) to finish in 16th place.
Pierre also competed in the 60m dash where he took 19th place with a time of 7.18 and Adams finished in 31st place with a time of 7.29. Pierrette ran a time of 7.33 to finish in 35th place and Dylan Roadarmel (New City, N.Y.) finished in 59th place with a time of 7.87.
Distance runner Nicholas Beutel (Woodcliff Lake, N.J.) competed in the mile run where he took 30th place with a time of 5:05.82.
