GUERRERO WINS HIGH JUMP AT RAMAPO COLLEGE T&F INVITATIONAL

Results

Mahwah, N.J. (3/28/26)  The Dominican University New York men's track and field team took 11th place today at the Ramapo College Track & Field Invitational held yesterday and today on the campus of Ramapo College.

Jean Franco Del Valle Guerrero won the high jump event on Saturday.  The 4x100m relay team took second place and the 4x800m relay team finished in third place.

SATURDAY TOP FIVE FINISHES

SATURDAY RESULTS

  • Anthony Ramos took sixth place in the triple jump with a jump of 13.02m (42-08.75).
  • Colebrook competed in the 400m hurdles and took sixth place with a time of 59.84.  Christopher Rodriguez Gonzalez finished in 15th place with a time of 1:04.01.
  • Guerrero took part in the 110m prelims and finished in seventh place with a time of 15.87.
  • In the 400m dash, Fileen had an eighth place finish with a time of 51.68.  He was followed by Henry in 20th place (53.75), Connor Grable in 34th place (55.12), Sam Anthony Samala in 41st place (55.74) and Jameel Richardson in 64th place (1:07.52.). 
  • Douglas took eighth place in the 800m run with a time of 2:01.83, while Copeland finished in 16th place with a time of 2:06.69.
  • The long jump event saw Ramos take 13th place with a jump of 6.04m (19-09.75).
  • In the 1500m run, Douglas finished in 16th place with a time of 4:22.46.  Copeland took 26th place (4:33.08), Nelson in 27th place (4:33.29), Dertinger in 46th place (4:56.05) and Eslian Henriquez Flores in 54th place (5:25.18).
  • The 200m dash saw Fileen take 16th place with a time of 23.37.  Rosario finished in 19th place (23.46), Mallon in 56th place (25.30) and Brandon Yrrizarry in 62nd place (26.35).
  • GianLuca Saggio competed in the discus throw and took 20th place with a throw of 32.27m (105-10).

FRIDAY TOP FIVE FINISHES

  • Nelson took third place in the 3000m steeplechase with a time of 10:48.40.

FRIDAY RESULTS

  • In the 10000m run, Zachary Dertinger finished in 12th place with a time of 40:20.40.
  • Freshman Saggio took 18th place in the shot put with a throw of 11.20m (36-09.00).
