Princess Anne, Md. (2/6/26) The Dominican University New York men's volleyball team dropped their second straight match in as many days to the Hawks of the University of Maryland Eastern Shore by a score of 3-1.
The Chargers fall to 3-8 overall on the saeason while the Hawks improve to 7-2.
Dominican opened the match with a 25-22 win for a 1-0 lead. The Hawks rallied to win the next three sets and complete the two match sweep.
Phinehas Wiley picked up 13 kills while Jackson Shaw finished with 12 kills. Wiley picked up six digs and Shaw added seven digs. Tommaso Falchi recorded 10 kills while Alejandro Miranda led the Chargers in service aces with three while picking up eight digs.
Seth Terry finished with a team-highs in assists with 35 and digs with nine.
The Chargers will lool to bounce back when they return home next Friday night when they host FDU at 7:00 PM.
