Newark, N.J. (3/13/26) The Dominican University New York men's volleyball team fell in non-conference action this evening to the Highlanders of New Jersey Institute of Technology, 3-0, in a match played in Joel and Diane Bloom Wellness and Events Center.
Following the loss, the Chargers are now 4-13 on the season.
Junior Ayden Shaw led the team with nine kills, while Phinehas Wiley recorded eight kills.
Tommaso Falchi finished with five kills and a .333 attack percentage. Hunter Paio and Jackson Shaw had four hits a-piece with Paio finishing with a .250 attack percentage.
Setter Seth Terry had 22 assists, with libero Alejandro Miranda adding nine digs in the loss.
Dominican opens East Coast Conference (ECC) play tomorrow when they host Roberts Wesleyan University. Match time is slated for 1pm on Coach Baxter Court in the Hennessy Center.
