Rochester, N.Y. (4/24/26) The #3 Dominican University New York men's volleyball team lost to #2 St. Thomas Aquinas College, 3-0, this afternoon in an East Coast Conference (ECC) Men's Volleyball Seminfinal match hosted by #1 Roberts Wesleyan University in the Voller Athletic Complex.
The Spartans won the semifinal contest in three sets by scores of 25-17, 25-20 and 25-20.
All-ECC selection Phinehas Wiley led Dominican with seven kills, two service aces, one block and added four digs.
Tommaso Falchi contributed six kills and seven digs, while Luke Gavin-Ruple had five kills.
Setters Jaiden Wilcox distributed 15 assists, with Seth Terry contributing seven.
Alejandro Miranda had five digs and All-ECC pick, Ayden Shaw, finished with five kills and five digs in the loss.
Dominican concludes the season with an overall record of 7-18 and an ECC record of 3-3.
