SOFTBALL SPLIT AT NATIONAL TRAINING CENTER GAMES
Clermont, FL (3/5/10) The Dominican College softball squad split two games today at the National Training Center games. DC lost to Winona State, currently ranked eighth in the nation, 8-0, but rebounded to defeat Grand Valley State University, 5-4 in the night cap.

Game 1:
Winona State pitcher Stacy Struzynski threw a one hitter in the victory.
Lady Charger hurler Delaney Childers (Johnstown, OH) suffered the loss to drop to 2-4 on the year.
Game 2:
DC pounded out 12 hits in the night cap victory. Five different Lady Chargers acquired two hits a piece. Pitcher Katrina Pistilli (Staten Island, NY) picked up the win (2-2), allowing only one earned run.
With the split Dominican now stands at 4-6 overall.
