PIASECKI GETS 200TH CAREER HIT IN VICTORY OVER GOLDEY-BEACOM COLLEGE
Orangeburg, NY (4/25/10) Dominican College softball player, Cara Piasecki, collected her 200th career hit in the second game of a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) sweep over Goldey-Beacom College yesterday in games played in Wilmington, DE.
Orangeburg, NY (4/25/10) Dominican College softball player, Cara Piasecki, collected her 200th career hit in the second game of a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) sweep over Goldey-Beacom College yesterday in games played in Wilmington, DE.
Piasecki, a senior infielder who hails from Port Monmouth, NJ, became just the third Lady Charger softball player in history to reach the 200 career hit milestone. Sarah Beck (Class of 2009) is currently the All-Time hits lead with 258 career hits and Katie Farrugia (Class of 2006) is second with 215.
Piasecki currently leads the Lady Chargers this season in numerous offensive categories including batting average (.426), on-base percentage (.506), slugging percentage (.669), walks (22), total bases (91), home runs (7), runs batted in (48) and runs scored (44).
Dominican concludes the regular season this week with games against Molloy College, the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia and Wilmington University.
