CHILDERS TABBED CACC ROOKIE OF THE WEEK

Orangeburg, NY (4/26/10) Dominican College softball player, Delaney Childers, has been named the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Rookie of the Week as was announced by the conference office today.

Orangeburg, NY (4/26/10)  Dominican College softball player, Delaney Childers, has been named the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Rookie of the Week as was announced by the conference office today.

Childers, a freshman outfielder/pitcher from Johnstown, OH, hit .452 with nine RBI, 10 runs
scored, five doubles and one home run.  On the mound, she went 4-1 with one save.  She had an ERA of 0.68, while fanning 27 in 30.2 IP.

This is Childers third Rookie of the Week honors this season.
