Orangeburg, N.Y. (4/23/15)  The Dominican College softball team has made their first appearance in the NCAA Division II East Region Softball Poll as wa announced yesterday by the NCAA.

The Lady Chargers have been ranked eighth in this week's rankings.  The team is currently 25-15 overall on the season and has a 17-5 Central Atlantic Collegiate Confererence (CACC) record.  DC is currently in second place in the conference standings.

Dominican is one of four teams from the CACC to be in the rankings.  Caldwell University retained the top spot in this week's rankings, while Wilmington University moved up two spots into sixth.  Post University dropped down to ten in this week's poll.
