HAUKAP RECORDS 200TH HIT IN SOFTBALL VICTORY AT LIU POST

Dominican College senior catcher Shannon Haukap became the 8th Lady Charger to reach the 200 hit club in yesterday’s first game at LIU Post.

Dominican College senior catcher Shannon Haukap* (Edmonds, Wash.) became the 8th Lady Charger to reach the 200 hit club in yesterday's first game at LIU Post. Haukap lead off the game with a single to left field to reach the milestone. The Chargers won the game 6-5 in 13 innings.

Haukap a four-year starter and captain is a 3-time All-Conference selection in her first three seasons at Dominican. She and the Lady Chargers will take on Philadelphia University tomorrow afternoon in a home doubleheader starting at 2PM.
