The Lady Chargers used a 15-0 run eight minutes into the first half to ignite the team to a 39-18 halftime lead. In the second stanza, Dominican's biggest lead would be 26 points (53-27) with 11:03 remaining in regulation and went on to the 63-47 victory.
Senior forward Adele Laskowski (Wayne, NJ) led the Lady Chargers with 12 points and seven rebounds. Freshman Lindsey Lopez (Elmwood Park, NJ) scored nine points and a team leading four steals, while Marley Klunk (York, PA) and junior Shanice Scully (St. Albans, NY) each contributed eight points each, with Klunk adding a team leading eight caroms in the victory.
Jhenel Franklin (Windsor, CT) lead the Eagles with 15 points and 5 rebounds. Aubrey Latham (Mystic, CT) had the game's only double-double with 10 points with 11 rebounds in the loss.
With the victory Dominican improves to 3-2 overall and 2-0 in the CACC, while Post falls to 3-4 overall and 0-1 in the CACC.
The Lady Chargers are back in action on Thursday when they host Concordia College in CACC action on Coach Baxter Court at the Hennessy Center for a 6pm game.
