GEE RECORDS HER 1,000TH CAREER POINT AS THE LADY CHARGERS DOWN CONCORDIA

Bronxville, N.Y. (2/11/21) Women’s Basketball senior Jasmine Gee (Englewood, N.J.) recorded her 1,000th career point during DC’s win over Concordia College.

Bronxville, N.Y. (2/11/21) Women's Basketball senior Jasmine Gee (Englewood, N.J.) recorded her 1,000th career point during DC's win over Concordia College. Gee finished the game with six points and recorded two rebounds and one block.

Gee is the 29th player in Dominican College Women's Basketball history to score 1,000 career points.

The Lady Chargers downed the Clippers of Concordia College by a score of 82-57 to improve their record to 4-1 (3-1 CACC) and extend their winning streak to four straight games.

Concordia College drops to 2-2 (2-2 CACC) after the loss.

DC opened the game with a huge first quarter by outscoring the Clippers 30-4. The Lady Chargers played a strong second quarter by outscoring the Clippers 22-13 and held a 52-17 lead at halftime.

In the second half, DC continued their strong play and secured the win.

Tanasha Mills (New City, N.Y.) led all scorers with 18 points and added three assists. Khay'la Latimer (Teaneck, N.J.) finished the game with 12 points and recorded five rebounds and four assists.

Elle Nittinger (Waverly, N.Y.) added 11 points and five boards. Maria Enrich Tasias (Odena, Spain) scored nine points while Korina Guerra (White Plains, N.Y.) added eight points. Taylor Tomlinson (Middletown, N.Y.) recorded a team-high eight rebounds.

For the Clippers, Eazette Bealon led the team with 13 points and added five rebounds. Marigona Bacaliu scored 11 points. Shanice Graves scored nine points and recorded a team-high 10 rebounds.

The Lady Chargers will be back in action on Saturday, February 13th when they visit Felician University for a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) game at 1:00 P.M.
