Coach Dunlay enters her 10th season as Recruiting Coordinator and Skills Coach at Dominican University.

Coach Dunlay brings more than 20 years of collegiate coaching experience as a proven recruiter, program builder, and elite player developer. Her championship pedigree at both the collegiate and national AAU levels, combined with a deep commitment to player development, has made her a key contributor to sustained program success.

Dunlay has held head coaching positions at Mercy College and Purchase College and has also coached at St. Thomas Aquinas College (STAC) and Adelphi University. Throughout her career, she has consistently identified and developed high-impact talent, including All-Met Player of the Year Taylor Tomilson, along with All-Met and All-CACC performers Cayla Howard and Tanasha Mills. Each of these players became 1,000-point collegiate scorers and All-Conference selections, highlighting Dunlay’s ability to turn recruiting evaluations into on-court production.

From 2023 to 2025, Dunlay oversaw the offense at Dominican, helping guide the team to conference playoff appearances and contributing to a 22–8 record last season, the best record in the Bill Diener era, underscoring her impact on winning basketball.

In addition to her collegiate coaching success, Dunlay served as Head Coach of the Rockland Rockets 17U AAU program, leading the team to a Nike National Championship. Her accomplishments on the AAU circuit demonstrate her ability to prepare elite prospects for the collegiate level while maintaining strong regional and national recruiting connections.

A former standout student-athlete at Adelphi University, Dunlay scored 1,288 career points and recorded 770 rebounds, set the program’s single-game scoring record with 36 points, earned two NYCAC All-Conference selections, and was named Team MVP twice. Her playing career continues to shape her player-first approach to coaching and development.
