Coach Jarrett joined the Dominican University women’s basketball staff in 2018 and brings more than 30 years of coaching experience at the collegiate, high school, and AAU levels. He was elevated to Associate Head Coach after helping guide the Lady Chargers to two NCAA Tournament appearances (2021, 2023), back-to-back win records (21 in 2023 and 22 in 2025) and the program’s first CACC North Division Championship in 2025.

Coach Jarrett has been the program’s defensive coordinator since his arrival. Before arriving at Dominican, Coach Jarrett served as Associate Head Coach at Nyack College from 2016 to 2018, where he coordinated recruiting and defensive strategy. He previously spent two seasons as Nyack’s head women’s basketball coach (1998–2000), leading the team to its first playoff victory in school history and recruiting the program’s all-time leading scorer. Coach Jarrett also served more than a decade as an assistant coach for Nyack’s men’s program, contributing to a 26-win season and two NAIA National Tournaments.

Beyond the college ranks, Coach Jarrett was head coach at Clarkstown North High School from 2013 to 2016, doubling the program’s win total in his first season. He is also assisted in the founding of the Hudson River Hornets AAU program, where he has coached teams at the 14U–17U levels to national tournament appearances while organizing recruiting showcases and NCAA compliance education.

Coach Jarrett earned his bachelor’s degree in Organizational Management from Nyack College. During his time at Nyack, he played both basketball and baseball. He strives to follow the words of Proverbs 3:5–6, trusting in the Lord’s guidance in every aspect of coaching and mentoring his players both on and off the court.
