WOMEN'S BOWLING FINISHES COMPETITION AT USBC COLLEGIATE SECTIONAL QUALIFIER
Pittsburgh, Pa. (3/15/26) The Dominican University New York women's bowling team wrapped up the three day competition at the USBC Collegiate Sectional Qualifier from AMF Mt. Lebanon Lanes in Pittsburgh, Pa.
Friday saw the singles competition followed by the team competition on Saturday and Sunday.
Singles Results: The top finisher for the Lady Chargers was Kyra Walter who had a total pinfall of 1,122 for a 35th place finish with a high game of 228 in game three.
Stephanie O'Malley had a 91st place finish with a total pinfall of 1,023 while Angelina Tati finished right behindin 92nd place with a pinfall of 1,022.
Jenna Jump had a total pinfall of 1,007 for 102nd place while Nicolette Miller had a total pinfall of 939 and Alexandria Martinez placed 156th.
Team Results: In the team competition, teams bowled 16 four game baker sets for a total of 64 games. The final four games were position rounds.
After the first block of games, the Lady Chargers sat in seventh place out of 17 teams with a total pinfall of 2,889 with their highest game coming in game one which was a 224.
Dominican fell to 13th place after the second block of games but moved up one spot to 12th after games 33-48.
The Lady Chargers finished in 12th place after the fourth and final block of games saw DU post a total pinfall of 2,752 which included a 236 in game 60.
Dominican's overall total pinfall for the team competition was 11,144.
Dominican returns to action next weekend for the CACC Championships where they are #1 seed.
