#1 WOMEN'S BOWLING ADVANCES TO CACC CHAMPIONSHIP FINALS
Southampton, Pa. (3/21/26) The top-seeded Dominican University New York women's bowling team advanced to the 2026 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Women's Bowling Championship Finals to be held tomorrow and hosted by Chestnut Hill College at Pike Lanes.
The Lady Chargers won the first two rounds of the championship tournament by defeating #4 Wilmington University, 2-0 and #2 Caldwell University, 2-1, to advance to the Finals which will be held tomorrow at 1:30pm.
In their opener, DUNY won the traditional match 886-749 and followed with a victory in the baker match 1004-806 total pinfall.
All-CACC Second Team honoree Stephanie O'Malley posted a team high 222 game in the traditional match against the Wildcats.
In the matchup against the Cougars, the Lady Chargers took the traditional match 866-840. Caldwell won the baker match 920-845 to force a best of seven baker round where Dominican came away with a 4-2 win to take the match 2-1 and advance to the finals.
ALl-CACC First Team selection Angelina Tati had the high game of 202 in the traditional match for the Lady Chargers.
Dominican will face the winner of #2 Caldwell University/#3 Felician University tomorrow in the 2026 CACC Women's Bowling Championship Finals which is slated to begin around 1:30pm at Pike Lanes.
