DOMINICAN HEADS TO ROCHESTER REGIONAL OF NCAA WOMEN'S BOWLING NC CHAMPIONSHIP
Orangeburg, N.Y. (3/25/26) The Dominican University New York women's bowling team will appear in the 2026 NCAA Women's Bowling National Collegiate Championship as the 19-team bracket was unveiled Wednesday afternoon.
Dominican, fresh off the program's first-ever Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Bowling Championship, will compete in the Rochester Regional against Alabama A&M in the opening round.
The Lady Chargers, who were the top-seed in last weekend's CACC Bowling Championship Tournament, went 3-0 with victories over #4 Wilmington University (2-0), #2 Caldwell University (2-1) and #3 Felician University (2-0) to claim the conference's automatic bid.
Dominican (70-32) will face off against Alabama A&M on Thursday, April 2 at 9 a.m. in Rochester, N.Y.
The 2026 NCAA Championship features a 19-team double-elimination tournament. Split into four regions, including one site with four teams and three with five squads, take place Thursday, April 2 to Saturday, April 4. The four winners advance to the NCAA Championship finals in Parma Heights, Ohio at Yorktown Lanes Friday, April 10 and Saturday, April 11.
