WOMEN'S BOWLING SEASON COMES TO AN END ON DAY TWO OF NCAA REGIONAL
Gates, N.Y. (4/3/26) The Dominican University New York women's bowling team was eliminated from the NCAA Regional tournament on day two.
After defeating Alabama A&M yesterday, the Lady Chargers fsced Vanderbilt University in match one.
Vanderbilt got the best of the Lady Chargers 2-0 after a 1097-844 victory in the traditional round.
Kyra Walter had a high game of 210 for the Lady Chargers. Jenna Jump rolled a 180 while Briana Sinnott added a 172 game.
Rounding out the traditional match for the Lady Chargers was Angelina Tati with a 143 and Stephanie O'Malley with a 139.
Vanderbilt completed the victory with a 1154-916 win in the baker match and defeated the Lady Chargers 2-0 in the first match of the day.
Dominican posted a 211 in game two of the baker match.
The Lady Chargers then faced Maryville University in the elimination match.
Maryville bested the Lady Chargers 958-926 in the traditional round.
Walter led the Lady Chargers for a second time with a 204 game. O'Malley and Sinnott each finished over 190.
Tati picked up a 181 while Jump finished with a 151.
Maryville completed the 2-0 win after taking the baker match 1054-819.
Dominican posted a 168 in game five which was a match high.
The Lady Chargers finishthe 25-26 season with a program best 71-34 overall record.
