LADY CHARGERS DEFEAT GRIFFINS TO EXTEND WINNING STREAK
Lafayette, Pa. (4/12/25) The #24 ranked Dominican University New York Lady Chargers extended their winning streak to 11 straight as they downed CACC opponent Chestnut Hill College this afternoon on Victory Field in Lafayette, Pa.
Dominican opened the game with a 10 goal first quarter and didn't look back from there as they secured the 21-0 win and improved to 12-1 overall and 8-0 in conference play.
Erica Ortiz and CACC Co-Player of the Week Madelyn Grella combined for 13 goals and 21 total points. Ortiz scored a team-high eight goals while earning one assist and Grella scored five times and dished out a team-high seven assists. Ortiz also shared a team-high seven draw controls.
Erin Carr also had seven draw controls including the 200th of her career. Jordana Tomasetti and Madison Mileti each scored two goals. Mileti also added three assists and three caused turnovers.
Josie Lettieri, Ava Carabetta, Ellie Brouwer, and Rylie McGhan each finished with one goal scored. McGhan also picked up one assist.
All four goalkeepers saw action this afternoon for the Lady Chargers. CACC Goalkeeper of the Week Kristinamarie Kaszovitz got the start and recorded the win. Emma Crater saw 12:32 of game action while Kathryn Ehrlinger saw 15:45 of game action and Dynastee Ramos played 11:15.
The Lady Chargers return home Monday afternoon against non-conference opponent St. Thomas Aquinas College.
