DeSTASIO AND GRELLA RECEIVE USA LACROSSE MAGAZINE ALL-AMERICAN HONORABLE MENTION RECOGNITION
2025 USA Lacrosse 2025 Division II Women's All-Americans
Orangeburg, N.Y. (6/6/25) Dominican University New York women's lacrosse players, Grace DeStasio and Madelyn Grella, received USA Lacrosse magazine All-American Honorable Mention recognition as was recently announced by the organization.
DeStasio was previously named to the All-CACC First Team, the CACC All-Tournament Team and to the IWLCA East All-Region Second Team. She finishes her career as the program's all-time eader in goals (303). This season DeStasio totaled 103 points on 87 goals and 16 assists, finishing sixth nationally among D-II players in goals.
Grella receives her second straight USA Lacrosse Magazine All-American Honorable Mention recognition. In 2025, she led Division II in assists (91) and points (175) and was eighth with 84 goals. She was recently named to the All-CACC First Team, the CACC All-Tournament Team and to the IWLCA East All-Region First Team accolades. Grella led the CACC and team in both assists and points.
Dominican won their third-straight CACC championship and reached the round of 16 of the NCAA D-II Tournament, while setting a new program record for wins in a season (19).
