WOMEN'S LACROSSE RANKED FOURTH IN EAST REGION
Orangeburg, N.Y. (4/22/26) The Dominican University New York women's lacrosse team is ranked fourth in this week's 2026 NCAA Division II East Region Women's Lacrosse Rankings, the NCAA D-II Women's Lacrosse Committee released today.
Fellow Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) members, Wilmington University and Thomas Jefferson University, are also in the rankings. Wilmington is ranked fifth and Jefferson sits seventh. Dominican (11-3, 7-0 CACC) is the CACC's first-place team and defending champion. The Lady Chargers, who have won nine consecutive games, are ranked No. 18 in the most recent USA Lacrosse Magazine national Division II poll.
The NCAA will announce the 24-team field for the 2026 Division II Women's Lacrosse Championship, including six from the East Region, on Sunday, May 3 at 8:30 p.m. on ncaa.com. The winner of the CACC Championship tournament will automatically qualify for the NCAA Tournament.
