WOMEN'S LACROSSE REMAIN FOURTH IN LATEST NCAA EAST REGION RANKINGS
Orangeburg, N.Y. (4/30/26) The Dominican University New York women's lacrosse team stayed fourth in this week's NCAA East Region Rankings as was released by the NCAA D-II Women's Lacrosse Committee yesterday.
Dominican is ranked No. 4 in the region. Wilmington is the East's No.5-ranked team, while Jefferson sits at No. 7. The rankings for all four NCAA Division II regions can be viewed at https://www.ncaa.com/rankings/lacrosse-women/d2/regional-rankings.
The Lady Chargers (14-3, 9-0 CACC) is the Central Atlantic Collegatie Conference's first-place team and defending champion. The Chargers , who have won 12 consecutive games, are ranked No. 18 in the most recent USA Lacrosse Magazine national Division II poll. DUNY won their CACC Championship Tournament Semifinal game this afternoon after defeating, Georgian Court University.
The NCAA will announce the 24-team field for the 2026 Division II Women's Lacrosse Championship, including six from the East Region, on Sunday, May 3 at 8:30 p.m. on ncaa.com. The winner of the CACC Championship tournament will automatically qualify for the NCAA Tournament.
