#1 PHILADELPHIA UNIVERSITY RAMS RALLY TO UPEND #8 DOMINICAN COLLEGE LADY CHARGERS SOCCER IN CACC QUARTER-FINALS
Philadelphia, PA (11/3/08) The top seeded Philadelphia University Rams rallied from a 2-1 deficit at halftime to upend #8 Dominican College Lady Chargers, 3-2 this afternoon in the opening round of the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) women's soccer tournament.

The Rams got on the board in the first minute of play on an own goal.
The Lady Chargers answered back with two unanswered goals by sophomore midfielder and All-CACC Honorable Mention pick, Margaret Porter (Neptune, NJ). He first goal of the game came at 34:05 and followed with her second and seventh of the season at 37:29 as DC took a 2-1 advantage into the intermission.
Philadelphia tied the game in the 54th minute of action as Stephanie Filmyer netted her fourth goal of the season on the assist by Sara Redka. The game winning goal came in teh 59th minute of play off the foot of Brianna Reinford as they got the pass from Jill Sololski.
Lady Charger keeper Rosa Centurion (Mamaroneck, NY) recorded 12 saves in the loss, while Ram keeper and CACC Player of the Year Sara Hall had seven saves in the win.
The Rams dominated the offensive end of the game, outshooting DC 25-10 and held a 8-2 advantage in corner kicks.
With the victory the Rams improve to 10-6-4 overall, while Dominican ends their season with a 6-11-1 record.
Philadelphia advances to the CACC Semi-finals which will take place on Wednesday in Philadelphia, PA.
