Both teams played a scoreless first half as the Cougars registered six shots to the Lady Chargers four.
In the second half, Porter netted her first goal in the 64th minute off the right side pass from junior Heather Augilera (Middletown, CT) to the 12 yard line to give DC a 1-0 lead.
Sophomore Jennifer Joyce (Ocean Grove, NJ) gave Dominican a 2-0 lead five minutes later on a loose ball shot following a corner kick.
Porter tallied her second goal of the game and her eighth on the year at 88:56 on a shot from the 15 yard line off the long pass from senior Rosa Centurion (Mamaroneck, NY) for the eventual 3-0 DC victory.
Senior goalie Valentina Sturchio (Stewartsville, NJ) had five saves in the victory.
Dominican improves to 4-1-2 overall and 3-0-1 in the CACC, while Caldwell falls to 1-5 overall and 1-2 in the CACC.
Dominican is back in action on Sunday when they host Georgian Court University in CACC women's soccer action at the DC Soccer Field. Game time is set for 1pm.
