LADY CHARGERS TIE WITH CALDWELL UNIVERSITY

Caldwell, N.J. (9/20/14) The Dominican College women's soccer team played to a 0-0 double overtime tie with Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) opponent, Caldwell University, in a game played today at Caldwell Field.

Caldwell, N.J. (9/20/14)  The Dominican College women's soccer team played to a 0-0 double overtime tie with Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) opponent, Caldwell University, in a game played today at Caldwell Field.

Following the consecutive tie for the Lady Chargers, the team is now 1-3-2 overall and 1-1-2 in conference play.

The Cougars out shot the Lady Chargers, 24-5.  Caldwell put a shot off the left post in the 53rd minute and Lady Charger keeper Gina Yannette (Dumont, N.J.) made a key save in the first overtime period en route to a 110 minutes of scoreless soccer.

Yannette had a season high 13 saves in the tie.

Dominican returns to conference action as they travel to Post University on Tuesday afternoon.
