LADY CHARGERS FALL TO TIGERS

Philadelphia, Pa. (10/25/14) The Dominican College women's soccer squad fell to host, Holy Family University, 1-0 in a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) game played at Tiger Field.

Philadelphia, Pa. (10/25/14)  The Dominican College women's soccer squad fell to host, Holy Family University, 1-0 in a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) game played at Tiger Field.

Following the loss, Domincan drops to 4-7-2 overall and 4-4-2 in CACC play.

The game-winner was scored at the 27:56 mark, leading Holy Family University to the 1-0 win.

Melissa Messina (Hillsdale, N.J.) and Jennifer Becker* (Hawthorne, N.J.) each recorded a shot on goal for the Lady Chargers.

Keeper Veronica Iozzi (Chester, N.J.) made nine saves in the loss.

The Tigers outshot the Lady Chargers, 19-4 and held a 6-2 advantage in corner kicks.

DC will host Nyack College on October 29th at the DC Soccer Field.  Game time is set for 3:30 pm.
