Orangeburg, N.Y. (9/27/25) The Dominican University New York women's soccer team was upended by the Rams of Thomas Jefferson University this afternoon in CACC action from Ravenhill Field in Philadelphia, Pa.
The Lady Chargers fall to 2-4-2 overall and 1-3 in conference play. The Rams improve to 7-1 overall and 3-0 in the CACC.
Hanna Grenier made five saves but suffered the loss. Julia Rath and Kali Reddy split time in net for the Rams. Reddy recorded the win in 49:18 of action while Rath saw 40:42 of action.
The Rams held the edge in shots and corner kicks. TJU's offense scored early by jumping out to a 4-0 lead within the first 11 minutes of the first half.
Gianna Garozzo scored twice while Alexa Callahan and Kyra Lesko each found the back of the net. Ella Ballow rounded out the scoring for TJU 58 seconds into the first half for the 5-0 lead which would become the final score.
Evelin Ventura-Garcia picked up two assists while Carly Yeager and Nikki Dedes each added one assist.
Sophia Stahl, Grace Slesinsky, and Amara Landon each took one shot in the game for the Lady Chargers.
DU will return to action on Tuesday night when they visit Post University.
