2021 Dominican College Women’s Tennis Summary

 

 

In their second season of competition, the women’s tennis squad finished the year with an overall record of 0-5 and an 0-5 record in the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC).  Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the entire portion of their season was played in the spring semester.

 

 

The Lady Chargers finished in fifth place in the conference under second-year head coach, Joseph Gravagna. 

 

 

Freshman Mariana Ling led the team in individual wins with a 3-1 record in second singles.  Ling was also named to the CACC Weekly Honor Roll once this season.

 

 

Joana Ndunduma and Steffy Espejo both finished the season with two wins a-piece in singles.

 

 

In double play the team of Ling and Isha Mbaye sported a perfect 5-0 record in the first doubles spot.  Mbaye was also named to the CACC Weekly Honor Roll once this season.
