Lakewood, N.J. (5/6/18) The Dominican College women's track and field team completed their 2018 season at the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Championships held today on the campus of Georgian Court University.

The team finished with a combined score that placed them 11th among the teams competing.

In the 4x100m relay, the team of Adji Ndiaye (Bronx, N.Y.), Djazmina Jean-Pierre (Spring Valley, N.Y.), Ashley-Ann Courts (Riverhead, N.Y.) and Esther Galo (Allendale, N.J.) finished sixth with a time of 51.68.

Freshman Andrea Nardone (Stony Point, N.Y.) took 10th place in the 1500m run with a time of 5:18.34.

Kaitlynn Connor (Warwick, N.Y.) finished in 10th place in the 500m run with a time of 21:07.13.

Senior Kim Koeder (Schwaebisch Hall, Germany) took 14th place in the 400m dash with a time of 1:08.09.  Teammate Victoria Ostolozaga (Stony Point, N.Y.) finished in 16th place with a time of 1:15.25.

In the 100m dash, Courts ran a time of 13.21 to finish in seventh place, while Jean-Pierre took 13th place with a time of 13.60 and Tayina Solon (West Haverstraw, N.Y.) finished in 21st place with a time of 14.99.

Ina Koeder (Schwaebisch Hall, Germany) competed in the 800m run where she placed 14th with a time of 2:35.49.

Courts and Galo took 12th and 13th place in the 200m dash with times of 27.09 amd 27.72.  Solon finished in 19th place with a time of 31.58 and Da-Naeya Rhodes (Union, N.J.) ran a time of 33.68 to finish in 27th place.

In the 4x400m relay, the team of I. Koeder, K. Koeder, Jennifer Heller (Butler, N.J.) and Chelsea Crawford (Montgomery, N.Y.) had a time of 4:32.17 to finish in eighth place.

Courts and Ndiaye took part in the high jump where they finished in eighth and 14th place with jumps of 1.52m (4 feet, 11.75 inches) and 1.42m (4 feet, 07.75 inches).

In the long jump, Courts took 10th place with a jump of 4.75m (15 feet, 07.00 inches).

Junior Abigail Jacquet (Garnerville, N.Y.) finished in eighth place in the discus throw with a throw of 27.18m (89 feet, 2 inches), while Judy Auguste (Westbury, N.Y.) took 17th place with a throw of 22.80m (74 feet, 10 inches).

Nidaye also competed in the javelin throw where she took 10th place with a throw of 25.56m (83 feet, 10 inches).

Sophomore Auguste finished in 15th place with a throw of 8.65m (28 feet, 04.50 inches) and Jacquet took 22nd place with a throw of 7.78m (25 feet, 06.25 inches).

Today marked the final meet for seniors: I. Koeder, K. Koeder, Jacquet and Crawford.  Dominican College would like to wish them the best of luck in their future endeavors.
