New York, N.Y. (2/23/19) The 4x200m relay team of Djazmina Jean-Pierre (Spring Valley, N.Y.), Cheneda Jemedy (Brockton, Mass.), Desiree Joseph-Jarvis (Livingston, N.J.) and Adji Ndiaye (Bronx, N.Y.) had the high finish of 6th place with a time of 1:53.70 at the Last Chance Meet held yesterday at the NYC Armory.
Kaitlynn Connor (Warwick, N.Y.) finished in eighth place in the 3000m run with a time of 12:34.30.
In the 200m dash, sophomore Jemedy finished in 36th place with a time of 27.51. Jean-Pierre took 47th place with time of 28.22 and Joseph-Jarvis ran a time of 28.96 to finish in 53rd place. Ndiaye took 63rd place with a time of 30.97 and Hammond finished in 65th place with a time of 32.07.
Jemedy and Joseph-Jarvis competed in the 400m dash where they finished in 32nd and 38th place with time of 1:05.08 and 1:07.07.
Thrower Zaria Hankins (Ossining, N.Y.) competed in the shot put event and took 20th place with a throw of 9.70m (31 feet, 10 inches). Auguste had a throw of 9.28m (30 feet, 5.5 inches) to finish in 23rd place.
Junior Jean-Pierre took 18th place overall in the 60m dash with a time of 8.45. Jada Hammond (Nyack, N.Y.) finished in 31st place with a time of 8.98, while Ndiaye had a time of 9.06 to finish in 32nd place. Judy Auguste (Westbury, N.Y.) ran a time of 9.22 to finish in 36th place.
