WOMEN'S TRACK AND FIELD COMPETE AT WOLVERINES LAST CHANCE MEET

Newark, N.J. (4/30/21) The Dominican College women's track and field team traveled to the Wolverines Last Chance Meet held today.

Newark, N.J. (4/30/21) The Dominican College women's track and field team traveled to the Wolverines Last Chance Meet held today.

Freshman Stacy Eliezer (Stony Point, N.Y.) had the high finish of the day for the Lady Chargers as she took third place in the hammer throw with a throw of 26.06m (85 feet, 6 inches).

Sabrina Hernandez (Stony Point, N.Y.) took fifth place in the shot put event with a throw of 10.63m (34 feet, 10.5 inches).  Eliezer took 12th place with a throw of 8.88m (29 feet, 1.75 inches).

The 100m dash saw Cheneda Jemedy (Brockton, Mass.) with the high finish of ninth place with a time of 13.62.  Armanie Abreu (Brentwood, N.Y.) finished in 14th place with a time of 13.95 and Krystal Parris (Toronto, Canada) took 19th place with a time of 14.61.

Arbeu finished ninth in the 200m dash with a time of 29.74, while Parris took 13th place with a time of 31.65.

In the discus throw, Hernandez finished in 11th palce with a throw of 21.87m (71 feet, 9 inches) and Eliezer took 12th place with a throw of 21.07m (69 feet, 1 inch).
