WOMEN'S TRACK AND FIELD HAVE STRONG SHOWING AT PRATT INVITATIONAL

Results

Flushing, N.Y. (4/5/25)  The Dominican University women's track and field team had a number of top five finishes today at the Pratt Invitationall, hosted by Pratt Institute on the campus of Queens College.

In the seven events that the team competed in, the team had a top five finisher in each event.

Women's Results

  • Tiara Cargill won the 200m dash with a time of 28.07.  Lynn Jacob took sixth place with a time of 29.84 and Genesis Jimenez finished in seventh place with a time of 29.86.
  • The 4x100m relay team of Jayda Jones, Jacob, Jimenez and Cargill won the event with a time of 52.59.
  • Jimenez won the long jump with a jump of 4.71m (15' 5.5").  Cargill took third place with a jump of 4.58m (15' 0.5").
  • The 400m dash saw Anna Murphy take second place with a time of 1:06.23, while Anjalice Arias finished in sixth place with a time of 1:10.31.
  • Tori Benson finished in second place in the shot put event with a throw of 9.69m (31' 9.5").  Kenyce Scavella took third place with a throw of 9.48m (31' 1.25") and Julissa Velasquez finished in fourth place with a throw of 9.22m (30' 3").
  • In the 100m dash, Cargill took third place with a time of 13.55.  Jacob took fifth place with a time of 14.05 and Jones finished in seventh place with a time of 14.40.  Jimenez took eighth place with a time of 14.56.
  • Rachel Reagan took fifth place in the 3000m run with a time of 14:08.83.
