LADY CHARGERS COMPETE AT CACC TRACK AND FIELD CHAMPIONSHIPS

Lakewood, N.J. (5/2/26)  The Dominican University New York women's track and field team finished in eighth place at the 2026 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Women's Track and Field Championships held yesterday and today at the GCU Track and Field Complex and hosted by Georgian Court University.

Freshman Isabella Mack had the high finish of fourth place in the long jump with a jump of 5.36m. 

FRIDAY RESULTS

  • Mack took fourth place in the long jump event with a jump of 5.36m.
  • The javelin throw saw Veronica Valentik take seventh place with a throw of 26.85m.

SATURDAY RESULTS

  • In the 1500m run, Sarai Cruz finished in fifth place with a time of 5:16.66.
  • The 4x100m relay team of Jayda Jones, Mack, Gabrielle Brooks and Tiara Cargill had a fifth place finish with a time of 50.69.
  • Valentik took sixth place in the shot put with a throw of 11.06m.
  • The 400m hurdles saw Kiana Thomas take sixth place with a time of 1:11.84.  
  • Thomas, Anjalice Arias, Cruz and Valentik took sixth place in the 4x400m relay with a time of 4:16.49.
  • Mack took seventh place in the 100m dash finals with a time of 12.91 with Cargill finished in eighth place with a time of 12.88.  In the preliminaries, Mack qualified with a sixth place finish (12.67) and Cargill was in eighth place (12.88).  Jones ran a tie of 13.10 to take 10th place in the prelims.
