LADY CHARGERS VOLLEYBALL FALLS TO CALDWELL COLLEGE

Caldwell, NJ (9/17/08) The visiting Dominican College Lady Chargers volleyball team dropped a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) match, 3-1 this evening to Caldwell College at the Newman Center.

Caldwell, NJ (9/17/08)  The visiting Dominican College Lady Chargers volleyball team dropped a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) match, 3-1 (16-25, 23-25, 25-21, 12-25)  this evening to Caldwell College at the Newman Center.

With the loss Dominican falls to 0-6 overall and 0-2 in the CACC, while Caldwell improves to 2-4 overall and 1-0 in conference play.

Titilola Alao led the Cougars with 12 kills, while Amber Mosher added 10 kills and two service aces.  Setter Lauren Roth led the way with 34 assists.

The Lady Chargers were led by Akirrah Cooper (Bronx, NY) who had seven kills.  Outside hitter Kinikia Collier (Garnerville, NY) added five kills, 13 digs and six service aces.  Setter Kaitlin Earl (Greenville, NY) had 13 assists in the loss.

Dominican is back in action tomorrow night as they host Mercy College in a non-conference match.  Game time is set for 7pm on Coach Baxter Court at the Hennessy Center.
