PACE UNIVERSITY SETTERS DEFEAT LADY CHARGERS VOLLEYBALL

Pleasantville, NY(9/25/08) The visiting Dominican College Lady Chargers volleyball team dropped a non conference match to the Pace University Setters, 3-0 (12-25, 19-25, 7-25) this evening at Pleasantville, NY.

Pleasantville, NY(9/25/08)  The visiting Dominican College Lady Chargers volleyball team dropped a non conference match to the Pace University Setters, 3-0 (12-25, 19-25, 7-25) this evening at Pleasantville, NY.

Korena Johnson led the setters with seven kills, while Daniell Furka added six kills and four service aces in the win.  Setter Shea Hansen had 19 assists and Stephanie Kazmiercza had 12 digs.

Senior Kinikia Collier (Garnerville, NY) led the Lady Chargers with six kills, while Nicole Bagatta (Bellerose, NY) led the team with 22 digs.  Setter Lauren Palermo (Ottisville, NY) had eight assists in the loss.

With the win Pace improves to 9-3 overall, while Dominican falls to 0-12 overall.

The Lady Chargers are back in action on Saturday when they host Georgian Court University in a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) match slated to begin at 12pm on Coach Baxter Court at the Hennessy Center.
