RAMS TOP WOMEN'S VOLLEYBALL

Orangeburg, N.Y. (10/19/19) The Dominican College women's volleyball squad dropped a 3-0 decision to the visiting Rams of Jefferson (Thomas Jefferson + Philadelphia University) this afternoon in a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) match played on Coach Baxter Court in the Hennessy Center.

Dominican (0-16, 0-10 CACC) fell in straight sets; 25-18, 25-19, 25-16.

Sophomore Emmalyn LaPier (Endicott, N.Y.) led the Chargers with eight kills, .227 attack percentage and had eight digs.

Libero Alicia Dennis (Kemp, Texas) provided a team best 12 digs, while senior Deanna Knopf (Hauppauge, N.Y.) tallied 10 digs and five kills.

Essence Boyd (Peekskill, N.Y.) had 12 assists with senior Gabrielle Napoleon (Springfield, N.Y.) adding two block solos.

For the Rams, Amber Johnson had team best nine kills and Molloy Hand delivered 21 assists.  Alexis Leddy had match high 15 digs.

DC will travel to conference foe, Felician University, this coming Tuesday evening.
